Prism was started in 1994 as an advertising photo studio. Since starting it is working with most eminent ad-agencies and NGOs. In Bangladesh it has established the sense that advertising photography is quite different from general photography.

  Prism's Stock Photography  
   
   
 
Prism provides you a large stock of photographs on various subjects like nature, natural scenes, flowers, birds, people, life styles, architectural, cultural activities etc. Contributors of this stock are Mr. Rafiqul Islam (Director, PRISM), Mr. KM Jahangir Alam, Mr. Ahsanul Haque Khokon, Mr. Ziaul Karim, Mr. Rashed Ahmed and Mr. Zaved Iqbal.

  Prism's Training, Information & Publication Wing  
   
   
 
This program is for creating new generation of creative photographers. Prism has published three different books on photography and continuing publication of ‘CAMERA'; a periodic magazine. It conducts two different training programmes for different status of learners. Workshops on different topics are arrenged to deliver and share knowledge to face the changes in technology and attitudes.

  Rafiqul Islam, Founder Director of PRISM  
           
 
Rafiqul Islam, a man of multiple talent, is equally successful in photography, graphic design, writing books, editing and also as a trainer. He completed his diploma in photography (1989) under late M. A. Beg. Then he completed his graduation on photography (1992) at New York Institute of Photography in U.S.A.
In Bangladesh Rafiqul Islam is the only person of his time who has written a number of books and continuously writing articles on photography in bengali. Learner's favorite book 'Photography Kolakoushal O Monon' has touched its fourth edition.Fourth edition of this book is especially designed to meet the challenge of latest technology.
